Claudia Garza (Graduate Student)
Claudia earned her bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science and her M.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Her thesis identified structural and functional modulators of PSD-95 regulating NMDARs at postsynaptic membranes. She has an interest in exploring the molecular pathways associated with neurodegenerative diseases and therapeutic developments. She is now pursuing a Neuroscience PhD in the Jain Lab by investigating regulators of lysosomal membrane repair. Outside the lab, she enjoys hiking, art museums, and spending time with friends.
