Devisha Dhameliya (Research Technician)
Devisha earned her bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from India and then got her M.S. in Biotechnology at Northeastern University (Boston), where she built a strong foundation in molecular and cellular biology.
Prior to coming to the Jain lab, she worked as a graduate research assistant in Dr. Ralph Loring's lab at Northeastern University, where she studied α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor assembly in vitro using a FRET-based approach. Afterwards, she completed her co-op at Editas Medicine. There, she learned about CRISPR gene editing, nanoparticle drug delivery, and in vivo studies.
She has a keen interest in molecular biology research and therapeutic developments. Outside the lab, she enjoys exploring new places, listening to music, watching TV, and spending time with friends and family.
